Yamaha SH3 Silent System: concert hall sound through headphones

One touch and the hammers stop just before the strings, so playing becomes silent while sound is heard through two headphone jacks. The SH3 system binaurally samples the Yamaha CFX concert grand and the Bosendorfer Imperial, offering 25 voices and 256-note polyphony. Bluetooth Audio/MIDI lets you connect your smartphone or tablet and control the instrument conveniently via the Smart Pianist app.

The keyboard, with Ivorite white keytops and phenolic resin black keytops, offers a secure, fatigue-free touch. Three pedals – damper, Silent pedal (center) and soft – give you the full expressive range of a traditional Yamaha acoustic piano.
