Carefully selected European materials meet the state-of-the-art SH3 Silent System here – for ambitious pianists who want a full, rich tone without ever giving up the freedom to play at any hour of the day or night.

Masterful European craftsmanship

Inside the SE-132 are carefully selected European materials: high-grade bass strings, hammers and soundboard timber combine with hammers developed specifically for the SE series to deliver a warm, resonant piano tone. The acrylic-resin white key surfaces and phenolic-resin black key surfaces offer a pleasant, secure touch, complemented by three pedals (damper, sostenuto, soft) for full expressive control.

Silent Piano SH3 – play whenever you like

Activate the SH3 Silent System and the hammers stop just before the strings, so play becomes completely silent, heard only through headphones. Sensors capture every key movement and send it to the digital tone generator, which recreates binaurally sampled sound from the Yamaha CFX concert grand and the Bösendorfer Imperial for a remarkably authentic playing experience. 25 voices and 256-note polyphony deliver variety and seamless sound.

Connected and ready to record

Via Bluetooth, connect the SE-132 to the SmartPianist app and conveniently control voices, metronome and settings from a tablet or smartphone. For practice and capturing your own ideas, the piano offers 10 storable songs with up to 2 MIDI tracks each, plus audio recording of up to 80 minutes in WAV quality (44.1 kHz/16-bit), complemented by USB, MIDI and AUX connectivity for linking external devices.
