Yamaha YUS1 ENST PE – Concert Sound That Also Plays by Itself

The Yamaha YUS1 in polished ebony belongs to the renowned YUS series and combines traditional Japanese piano-building craftsmanship with the same premium hammer felts and strings that are also used in the legendary Yamaha CFX concert grand piano. As the ENST PE version it is additionally equipped with the Disklavier Enspire ST – Yamaha's self-playing reproducing system, which turns your piano into a fully fledged recording and playback instrument.

Sound Quality at Grand Piano Level

A special tone escapement system amplifies the sound from inside the instrument and makes the vibrations physically perceptible as you play. The result is a sparkling, richly coloured tone with a naturalness and transparency otherwise known only from grand pianos – carried by the 88 keys and the proven Yamaha piano action.

Disklavier Enspire ST: Record, Play Back, Practise Quietly

Optical greyscale sensors capture key position, key velocity and pedal movement on all 88 keys with high precision. This allows the YUS1 to record your own playing faithfully or to play back one of the 500 preinstalled pieces – from piano concerto to jazz standard, reproduced with 256-note polyphony and CFX binaural sampling. The motor-driven hammer shank stopper also turns the instrument into a Silent piano: put on headphones and you can practise at any time of day or night without a single note being heard outside.
