TA3 Technology: Three Ways to Play in One Instrument

The TA3 system lets you switch between three modes: purely acoustic, with headphones in Silent mode for silent practice, or in TransAcoustic mode, in which digital sound signals are transferred directly to the soundboard – the entire piano becomes the loudspeaker, for an authentic sound that fills the room.

Natural Touch Thanks to the Ivorite Keyboard

The 88 keys with white Ivorite surfaces from Yamaha offer a feel modelled on real ivory – a pleasant, grippy touch even during long playing sessions. The middle pedal is designed as a sostenuto pedal and allows you to sustain individual notes selectively, just as you know it from large concert grand pianos.
