A concert ukulele with character – the VGS Manoa Mexico

With the VGS KT-CO-Mexico from the Manoa Tattoo Series, you get a concert ukulele with a distinctive look. The warm-toned sapelli top carries a fine laser engraving inspired by Mexican tattoo art — a real eye-catcher that makes your instrument instantly recognisable. Ideal for beginners and anyone looking for more body volume and tonal fullness than a classic soprano ukulele offers.

Sapelli body for a round, warm tone

Top, back and sides made of sapelli deliver a balanced, warm sound with pleasant fullness in the mids — a wood close to mahogany in tone, while offering good dimensional stability. The laurel fingerboard and bridge add a smooth, durable playing surface for clean articulation right up into the higher positions.

Comfortable playing feel thanks to the concert scale

With a 376 mm scale length and a 35 mm nut width, the concert size offers more fret spacing than a soprano ukulele — a noticeable advantage when learning chords and position changes. The natural silk-matte, open-pored finish leaves the wood grain visible and feels pleasantly understated in the hand.

Your benefits at a glance:

• Warm, full tone: Sapelli body for a round, rich sound.
• Eye-catching design: Exclusive Mexico laser engraving on the top.
• Comfortable to play: Concert scale with more fret spacing than soprano models.
• Premium look: Natural silk-matte, open-pored finish.
• Ready to play: Matching padded gig bag included.
