Hybrid Grand keyboard with escapement mechanism

The 88 keys of the Hybrid Grand keyboard combine a hammer action with escapement simulation and an ivory/ebony feel. Long keys with a rear-set pivot point ensure a consistent touch regardless of hand position, just like on a real grand piano. Haptic vibration additionally transmits the subtle resonance of each keystroke to your fingers.

Piano Reality Modeling: 324 tones, unlimited polyphony

The Piano Reality Modeling sound engine calculates string and cabinet resonance, subtle hammer noise and damper sound in real time rather than simply playing back samples. Piano sounds come with unlimited polyphony, and the LX-9 offers 324 tones in total (grand piano, upright, classical, electric piano, organ and more), plus six selectable acoustic environments from studio to cathedral.

Eight speakers for room-filling sound

A 4-way system of eight speakers, including a center channel, projects sound through the room the way a real grand piano would. Three pedals with continuous detection (damper, sostenuto, soft with damper simulation) allow the finest dynamic nuances.
