Solid tonewoods for maximum tonal richness

A solid spruce top meets a back and sides made of solid Santos rosewood. Santos rosewood is known for its high density, delivering a deep, warm bass foundation together with crystal-clear, singing highs. Combined with the large air volume of the Grand Jumbo body, this creates outstanding sustain and a dynamic response you can physically feel while playing. Solid woods also mature over the years, gaining tonal character.

Ergonomic playing comfort despite the large body

Despite its generous Grand Jumbo size, the Poison is remarkably comfortable to play. The built-in armrest bevels the upper edge of the body and stops it from digging into your forearm, even during long sessions. The maple neck gives a crisp, articulate attack, while the climate-stable Omega laminate fingerboard remains easy to reach in the upper positions thanks to the smooth cutaway.

The PSY-101 preamp system transfers the Poison's all-solid acoustic sound authentically and dynamically to any PA system. A nut and saddle made of real bone ensure optimal vibration transfer to the top – for a natural, cut-through tone even when amplified.
