At its heart is the original sound of the Yamaha CFX concert grand piano, complemented by sensitive key-off samples and VRM Lite resonance modelling. The newly developed Tone Escapement technology directs the sound outwards from inside the instrument in addition to the speakers – for a natural, three-dimensional sound projection like that of an acoustic piano.

The 88 keys with GH3 hammer action (Graded Hammer 3) respond more heavily in the low register and more lightly in the high register – exactly as on a real grand piano. The key tops made of synthetic ebony and ivory provide a secure grip even during intensive playing.
