The back and sides are made of high-quality East Indian rosewood, with a top made of premium spruce. Rosewood is considered one of the most versatile tonewoods for guitars; combined with the thin spruce top, the Natural PF achieves a very good attack with a full sound and crisp tone. Attack and sustain are balanced on this guitar, making it suitable for many different types of players.
A special feature of this guitar is the HANIKA "NATURAL" finish. This very thin lacquer/wax sealant makes the surface more resistant to typical playing stresses. The thin sealant also creates a particularly open and transparent tone.
Crafted from select solid tonewoods, this guitar features a flat top with asymmetrical 5-fret bracing. The bushed gold-tone tuners with ebony pegs, the cedar neck with its solid, top-quality hardwood fretboard, and the 3-ply rosewood-maple-rosewood headstock underscore the high quality of the Natural PF.
