The Prodige Pocket Clarinet is the result of three years of research and development by Buffet Crampon. Immediately after early musical education, the youngest music students now have the opportunity to produce a real clarinet sound with a reed and a clarinet mouthpiece, which is transmitted by a body made of Mozambican grendaill wood.
During development, Buffte Crampon took particular care in machining the bore and tone holes to ensure a balanced sound and, in particular, stable intonation across the entire range.
The Prodige Pocket Clarinet is an easy-to-use instrument. It is equipped with an adjustable thumb rest to optimize stability while playing and give children the feeling they will have on their future B-flat clarinet.
Our Prodige pocket clarinet is tuned in D and is played like the German recorder. Its range covers one octave - from the notated f to the notated g1.
