Description
Description
A warm, carrying alto sound from the Küng workshop
With the Küng STUDIO 1401 in pearwood, you choose an alto recorder in F from one of Switzerland's most respected recorder manufacturers. The STUDIO range is built around a balanced relationship between sound, response and price, accompanying you reliably from your first pieces all the way to ambitious ensemble playing.
Fine pearwood for a warm fundamental tone
The solid pearwood body gives this alto recorder its characteristically warm, fundamental-rich sound. Inside, the wood is paraffin-impregnated and oiled, and oiled on the outside – protecting the instrument and ensuring a stable response. The 1401 therefore sounds round and carrying, whether as a solo instrument or embedded in an ensemble or orchestra.
Baroque fingering with double holes for clean playing
The 1401 is built with baroque fingering and double holes, tuned to a' = 442 Hz. This allows precise intonation even in the semitones and makes it an ideal companion for lessons and chamber music. Its medium blowing pressure with low air consumption and wide inner bore give it an easy, fatigue-free response across a range of two octaves and a major second.
Your benefits at a glance:
- Warm sound: Solid pearwood delivers a round, fundamental-rich tone.
- Clean intonation: Baroque fingering with double holes, tuned to a' = 442 Hz.
- Easy response: Medium blowing pressure and low air consumption are gentle on your breath.
- Workshop quality: Carefully crafted by Küng, three-part for convenient storage.
- Versatile: Suitable for solo, ensemble and orchestra.
