Hammer heads with a mahogany core and premium wool felt deliver a warm, nuanced touch across the full dynamic range.

ATX4: silent practice without compromise

At the touch of a button, the ATX4 system mutes the acoustic sound and activates digital sound generation using SK-EX Rendering technology, faithfully reproducing the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand with 256-note polyphony. Thanks to the two headphone jacks and the included SH-9 headphones, you can practise at any time of day without disturbing anyone. Bluetooth Audio and MIDI, plus the PianoRemote app, also let you play back music, record, and fine-tune the sound directly from your smartphone.
