About 25 years ago we decided to take a pioneering approach and launched the Green Line series. Initially we wanted to show that we are convinced that we can build instruments of equal or even better quality from local woods than from "traditional" exotic tonewoods such as rosewood or ebony. What began with two classic guitar models developed over many years into a serious philosophy that has been an integral part of our product range ever since.
The Höfner Green Line continues to develop even after 25 years, is constantly refined and improved and we still collect valuable insights today when we deal with this topic. Even after 25 years, we continue to discover new and exciting tonewoods for our acoustic and electric instruments. In close collaboration with our German and Austrian wood suppliers and sawmills, we create beautiful and breathtakingly sounding instruments in a wide range of price ranges.
